For a cosmopolitan approach to culture
Adela Cortina (Valencia, 1947) is Professor of Ethics and Political Philosophy at the University of Valencia and a member of the Royal Academy of Moral and Political Sciences. She was the first woman to join this organization since its foundation in 1857. She has also been involved in other civil society institutions, and is director of the ÉTNOR Foundation (“for the ethics of business and organizations”).
