Edit Inotai is a journalist and researcher from Budapest, Hungary. She has been in journalism for 30 years, spending 20 of those working for the country’s largest daily newspaper, Népszabadság, where she served as a special correspondent in Latin America, a correspondent in Berlin, and the head of the international news desk. Since 2018, she has been a contributor to German public television (ARD) and the digital publication Balkan Insight as a correspondent in Hungary. She also organizes and moderates the European Café debate series at the Hungarian think tank Centre for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Democracy (CEID). She holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Spanish philology and a Ph.D. in international relations.
