The rise and fall of Woksim
Pablo de Lora is professor of Philosophy of Law at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. His research has focused on the analysis of ethical and legal challenges related to the advance of biomedicine, the moral status of animals, human rights, the philosophy of constitutional law, the ethical-legal dimensions of sex, and feminist political theory. Author of numerous articles and books on these and other topics, he has been visiting professor at the Center for Bioethics at Harvard University, among other universities. His major works include “Justicia para los animales” (2003), “Bioética. Principios, desafíos y debates” (2009, written in collaboration with Marina Gascón), “Lo sexual es político (y jurídico)” (2019), “El laberinto del género. Sexo, identidad y feminismo” (2021), “Los derechos en broma” (2023), and “Recordar es político (y jurídico)” (2024).
